An international report has shown a clear link between training managers in conflict management and conflict's impact as a catalyst for positive change.
"Among all employees, 76% have seen conflict lead to a positive outcome, such as better understanding of others (41%) or a better solution to a workplace problem (29%). This figure rises to 84% and 81% in Brazil and the US – where training (in conflict management) is most common. Belgium and France where employees experience the least training, have the least positive outcomes.”
The links below will take you to specific training courses that have been proven to produce results, while the document will take you to the OPP/Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development research quoted above.
What our Clients think:
"The course taught me how to help sceptical parties understand mediation and thereafter they are then more likley to engage with the process (pre-meetings). The joint meeting, knowing how to structure the discussion, control it and avoid the pitfalls was really an eye opener. Having done day 1 and day 2 about a year ago and then did live cases, I had a lot of experience I was able to bring to day 4 & 5. (Good and Not So Good). But it was reflecting on this and then learning how to effectively overcome the barriers that was extremely useful. It allowed a hypothetical/theoretical discussion to become a practical one based on my own experiences."
