Disputes have many costs - some hidden some obvious. The skills you and your staff have to manage a dispute early in it's life cycle will help to minimise the impact on your organisation and your people.

Continuous Practice Development

Existing Mediators, Solicitors and anyone interested in the 6 Day Mediators Course are invited to attend our monthly 5.30pm to 8.30pm CPD sessions where you will be able to sample some of the skills of mediation and meet our panel Mediators. The sessions are held at the offices of the Scottish Mediation Network in Edinburgh (18 York Place, Edinburgh, EH1 3EP) and at our offices in Glasgow (Baltic Chambers, 50 Wellington Street, Glasgow G2 6HJ).

Current dates are as follows (Edinburgh on a Tuesday, Glasgow on a Thursday of the same week).

Fees & Early Bird Discount

The fees quoted are per day per attendee, excluding VAT, but including all course material, drinks and meals. If payment is received 28 days before the course date or earlier, the amount paid can be discounted by 10% from the full course fee.

Multiple Bookings

Book 2 or more delegates from the same organization onto the same course and a 10% discount will be applied to each delegates.

In the unlikely event that one of our courses does not meet your expectations, please write to us immediately and we will offer you a full refund or attendance on another course.

General Information

Most courses are run on a Friday and are held at a local Hilton Hotel.

The 6 Day potential mediator's course is residential, based on three Thursday & Friday sessions over 6 weeks and is held at the Hilton Dunkeld House Hotel in Perthshire. You can attend for the first two days and if you decide being a mediator is not for you, you will only be invoiced for those two days

Each course needs a minimum of 8 people booking. If there are insufficient participants, you will not be charged and will be offered a place on the next course date.
