Sheriff Court Pilots
Welcome to the Aberdeen and Glasgow Sheriff Court section.
The Scottish Executive has appointed Court Mediation Services Ltd, a subsidiary of Catalyst Mediation, to manage the mediation pilot schemes at the Sheriff Courts in Aberdeen and Glasgow. The Executive is funding the pilots, which started in June 2006, for two years and will analyse the results to ascertain whether such schemes could be sustainable if introduced on a wider basis.

Would you like to join the Mediator panels?
If you are a new or experienced mediator and would like to join the Mediators' panels for either the Aberdeen or Glasgow (or both) schemes the Court Mediation Guidelines document contains information on the pilots and the Court Mediation Code of Practice document will give you further information on the guidelines followed by panel members.
