An in-depth examination of how to understand and appropriately intervene in 
family conflict situations where there is risk of homelessness for a young person.
This course is presented in partnership with Amber, part of the Cyrenians Trust. who provide a specialised mediation and support service for families and young people at risk of homelessness.The course will give you:
- Insight into the causes of family conflict;
- Understanding of family conflict dynamics and how it escalates;
- Appreciation of the issues and practicalities of homeless mediation;
- Knowledge of the place of mediation in the wider context.
As a specialist course for anyone working with young people it would normally be delivered at your location and course fees would be agreed with you depending on the numbers involved and whether or not any other Amber services were to be included in a package.
